European Commission Directorate General for Energy DM24 4/138 B-1049 Brussels/Belgium +32 2 295 38 05 paula.abreu-marques@ec.europa.eu sent Fri 3/7/2014 09:13 pm Dear Ms. Gabriella, I am taking liberty of sending you the new proposed legislation with Protocol no: 40 Ν. 2773/1999 ,of the Greek renewable source of power alteration ,as it was published today at the official Government Gazette web site for public viewing ! -On page 8 clause 3/1, the legislator demands that within two months of the publication of the law ,we are expected to issue CREDIT OF 35% OF OUR TOTAL PRODUCTION FOR THE YEAR 2013! -Over and above , that the Government is proceeding to ALTER ONE WAY the sales contracts with a permanent reduction of 29,5% for the 20 years locked feed in tariff!(in my case). -They are extended our sales contracts agreement for a further period of 5 years, HOWEVER AT A FURTHER REDUCED SALE OF 80EURO/MWH !(FROM 400/MWH currently) On page 9 ,article 4/2 they clearly state “ that the relative department IS PROCEEDING UP UNTIL 31.10.2014 TO ALTER ONE WAY ,THE SALES LEGAL AGREEMENTS “ Clearly of the above developments, I conclude the following: -Greece has ceased to respect and apply its Constitution therefore is NOT a Democratic country. -Greece does not RECOGNIZE the LEGAL binding validity of a BUSINESS SALES AGREEMENT between legitimate companies and State. -Greece does not RESPECT the recent public announcements of the European Commission of Energy , to Honor the locked feed in tariffs on solar parks already in operation. -Commission is in FULL “relaxation “ of such move by the Greek ministry of Economics and Energy thus ALLOWING Greece TO PROCEED with such decisions AFTER the meeting that took place with your organization last week. -If this insane legislation goes through ,thousands of people like myself will be forced to declare bankruptcy due to the above decisions of Greece/Commission (AS THIS IS THE ONLY SOURCE OF INCOME for many of us) , to indirectly “Nationalized “ THEIR legally owned company within Europe and thus is forcing them to suffer a total financial lose ,not to be able to support their family and children! Last time I checked Communism practicing was not part of the European agenda and FREE trade with profit of our investments was in order. And all of the above tragic consequences in order for Greek politicians to make room for EXTRA licenses and extra solar parks to be built in future so a few can profit further. Regrettably we will turn to the European court for justice and protection from such failed system. Since I represent quite a few producers, here in Greece I would kindly request for your “into the point “comments and propositions to prevent such a disaster from happening.
