We recommend adding a specific provision stating the obligation to reach an emissions-free electricity production by 2035. For that purpose and for reasons of simplification and clarity of the text, we recommend the amendment of Article 10(1)(c), by deleting the word ‘gradual’ and by adding a specific day for the lignite phase-out. In addition, we recommend the deletion of the second sentence of the paragraph.
