  Having spent all my summers in Kefalonia, the effects of the fish farms in the bay are visible to the naked eye. The water in the bay has lost its translucent glow and unfortunately is beginning to resemble murky sewage. I am curious as to what studies have been conducted by government environmental protection agencies to ensure that the fish farms in the bay have not been polluting the waters that we swim in. Has there been any oversight at all as to what chemicals and substances are being used to operate these fish farms?
