Comment on Point 1. of the above. The process is very cumbersome and time consuming. It can be simplified by having the Ελληνικό Προξενείο translate the document place the Apostille on the translated document and return it electronically to the student. One may argue that the Ελληνικό Προξενείο employees will be overwhelmed. That may be true for some of the Ελληνικό Προξενεία. The majority will not considering the time it takes today for the document to be translated by the Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών, return to the student, take it to Ελληνικό Προξενείο for the Apostille and returned to the student. One may say that the Ελληνικό Προξενείο employees are technically inept. I suggest that if this is the case, either train them or replace them. One may argue that the Ελληνικό Προξενείο employees do not have time to translate the documents. I feel that this is a poor excuse. They can use the Google translator and translate the entire document in a second. Then cut and paste into a MS Word, PDF or whatever document. The process will be further simplified by having an electronic version of the Apostille and then post it on the appropriate Internet site as per "άρθρων 24 & 25 του ν. για την Ηλεκτρονική Διακυβέρνηση Ν. 3979/2011 (για την ασφαλή χρονοσήμανση, την επιβεβαίωση λήψης και τη γνωστοποίηση εγγράφων)" Mr. Μανούσος Βολουδάκης, Υφυπουργός Διοικητικής Μεταρρύθμισης και Ηλεκτρονικής Διακυβέρνησης.
