Please do not forget that when a foreigner owns a property in your country, that property will never ever leave that country. Owners come and go but the property will always remain in Greece. Bear this in mind when drafting any legislation concerning property. Just as a local owner of property can not on his own control the value of it. Do not punish property owners it is a fact of life, and almost always one where they have no say in its value.
