A company is taxed and dividends are paid out after tax. There should be a dividend tax credit (ie no tax at all on dividends) on the dividend end of the equation to the shareholder if the company has paid its taxes. As for rising prices in a stock market, if a company wishes to reinvest its profits back into the company rather than pay dividends, then again this is done with after tax money and the rising stock value should not be taxed. If speculation drives a stock price up, natural forces will bring it back down again. So even if you tax these gains, you will have to credit them back as the price falls back to the fundametal valuse. You gain nothing. Taxing the people is not the solution. An econmony must grow and by taxing the people you will end up with no economy. Socialits dont get this. END BLOATED GOVERNMENT SPENDING AND CORRUPTION. Governement spending is the cause of this mess and government spending is what leads to hyperinflation. Small Government, low taxes is the only solution. Get out of the EU, default on the loans, debase the currency and start with a clean slate. Get rid of the central bank and print your own currency. You will not listen to my words becuase it means that most of you will have to go fire yourselves from you cushy government job. That's ok, just sit there and watch it all go up in flames.
