I agree with the comments that dogs should be allowed in the sea. From what I know they are allowed, but some very stupid ignorant Greek people scream and shout to remove them. BUT, gypsies, dirty ones go in the sea. I saw one with severe skin infection in the sea. So clean animals who cannot urinate in the sea like people can, what is the problem. This prejudice that animals are dirty and dangerous must stop. Transport should be allowed for every animal. People need to get ot the vets, Need to take their dogs to friends. Why should they not go in a taxi. As for clean kennels on ships, I know from experience that the kennels are often filthy and smelly. I pay extra for a cabin to allow dogs and would never use these dirty kennels. Why are they dirty and smelly, animals are clean and should be afforded clean transport. I don't know why dogs can't go on buses, trains. Even large dogs are allowed in the UK. There is never problem. only in Greece. We broke down and had to get a friend to tak eus home as we had our very clean dog with us. But no taxi or bus would take us. Stupity.
