Strong penalties for animal abusers. First we need a police force that is interested in protecting animals and don't see it as a waste of time. Animals are sentient and should not be subjected to torture, hanging, poison, rape, abuse, neglect. People who do this to animals, invariably move onto children and vulnerable adults. they need a strong punishment for harming a LIVING CREATURE. I fear Greece has a long way to go before people start to have that compassion and interest in animals. But please, really hard punishment and publication of names and addresses of the people who do this.
