    The Pilgrims came here because they didn’t like King George telling them how they had to worship. Conservatives fear Sharia. So why can’t they see that making Christianity our official religion and using it to write and enforce laws is no different? Conservatives use the Bible when it suits them, mainly civil rights of non-whites and LGBTQ+. But when it means they might need to curtail their own immoral behavior, all bets are off. They fail to comprehend that Jesus was brown, spoke Aramaic and was Jewish. Not white. Not English.
