I disagree with the building of a mosque in Athens and to be frank, anywhere in Greece. I don't see any new Greek Orthodox churches being built in any Muslim country, yet for some reason you find it appropriate to build mosques in Greece. For four hundred years we were slaves under the Otoman empire as they desperately tried to snuff out our Greek heritage. Now what they couldn't do through war and occupation, they do with the help of the Greek government using tax payers money. How can you possibly ravage the life's of so many Greeks through austerity measures and then use their money to build a symbol of what Greece has fought for hundreds of years and in fact continues to fight to this day. When will you look beyond your own greedy pocket and help YOUR people, the Greek people, to ensure they have a future in their own country. Grow a spine and hold steadfast against those that wish to see us disappear from history. Our great ancestors would be turning in their graves to see what you have left their country become after the sacrifices they made for us.
