    Suggestions: Amend the law only to reflect that mandatory sterilization is for strays in shelters, to be adopted by families. And, to the effect that responsible pet owners may breed their dogs or cats as would be the case in any other country in Europe (except Belgium). The need for animal lovers to be registered breeders is not going to stop illegal pet farms. It will only punish those who care for preserving breeds like the Cretan Hound (Kritikos Lagonikos).
