Gentlemen, If the government wants to give the right to the foreigners to become Greek citizens and, therefore, obtain the right to vote, those immigrants MUST: 1) SPEAK, READ & WRITE THE GREEK LANGUAGE 2) POSSESS GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF OUR HISTORY 3) RESPECT OUR CULTURE 4) RESPECT OUR LAWS, RULES & REGULATIONS, OUR WAY OF LIVING and this includes they HAVE to dress the way we do-NO turbans, burghas, saris etc! 5) IN SCHOOLS DURING THE CLASS OF RELIGION, IF THEY DON'T WISH TO PARTICIPATE, THEY CAN BE EXCUSED TO LEAVE THE CLASS-WE CAN NOT IN ANY WAY ALLOW THE FEW TO CHANGE THE BELIEFS OF AN ENTIRE COUNTRY THEY ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE TO CONFORM THEMSELVES TO OUR WAY OF LIVING. THIS COUNTRY HAS BEEN CHRISTIAN FOR CENTURIES AND WE SHALL NOT ALLOW THEM (NOR THE EEU) TO DO "THEIR" THING... WE ARE PROUD OF OUR HISTORY, COUNTRY, RELIGION! 6) THEY HAVE TO BE LEGAL RESIDENTS FOR AT LEAST FIVE (5) YEARS BEFORE THEY QUALIFY FOR CITIZENSHIP. And lastly and MOST importantly, they will have to take a verbal and written test, as it is done in other civilized countries of Europe, N. America etc. Thank you.
